A 1986 fin keel C-25, hull #5431, named "Magic Moments" is being auctioned on Ebay by Angelboatministries. A friend of mine is interested. Does anyone here know the boat or anything about it. The boat is located in Penn.

dave p.
not familier with boat but, the price is good.
looking thru the photos i see lots of grey stains on the port side in the potta potty. could be a leak in the stay area.
saw some grey on the cabin folding door.
could have had water standing in boat for a while.

at least you know it has not been in a hurricane!!!

the agreement says you have a final right of refusal once you inspect.

we all know alittle elbow greas can do wanders.

i'd go for not expecting much. then when you see it you work yourself up and see it was a bargain.

my boat is 5722, not that far from mine in production.

let us know what happens

Thanks for the reply. The ad said that about 1" of water had accumulated inside the boat while it was out in storage, apparently it didn't have a cover on it. I expect that's why the folding door was gray at the bottom. I missed seeing the stains in the potty area. Looks like it is set up for halyards leasing back to the cockpit. I have a feeling my friend has in mind to buy it low and resell it later, possibly selling the trailer and motor separately.

Where's the rudder? If there are items that have been separated from the boat, like the ad says, better make sure whoever has them will actually give them to you and not say there's storage or other charges due.

The rudder is lying on the cockpit sole. The tiller is in the salon.

Dave, you have eagle eyes. I can't make out the rudder in any of the pictures. I did see the tiller. I've been on google maps in the wrightsville, pa area trying to find the boat, but I haven't been able to find it. Can you?
