"The clink of an anchor - chain, the 'Yo-Ho!' of a well time crew, the flapping of huge sails - I love all these sounds."
On my 77, the traveller cam cleats are bolted to a piece of brass that is embedded in the fiberglass. There were no nuts to remove. I just unscrewed it. Try and pull one screw out on the port side and see. It's easier to reach under the coaming on the port side to tighten it back up if it ends up having a nut.
If you plan to bolt on there, here's a tip: It is pretty hard to get a nut up to the bolt in that narrow space. But, your finger can probably reach to the bolt. What I did was put a little dab of caulking on my finger and stick the nut on the tip. That way I was able to start threadding.
Great Ideas, I have not looked up there as the only way I can do that is with a mirror, I did Loosen One srew but it wont come out..Hmmmm But since the boat is in storage , I will try to get to it in a couple of weeks . I will let you know ..Thanks and Stay Warm!
