This Association only has one measurer. We don't have measurers for each geographical area. That's because the only reason why you would normally need a measurement by the C25-250-Capri Assn., would be if you plan to race your boat in the Catalina National Regatta. If so, that is generally done at the Regatta, and doesn't take very long.

If you want to race the boat PHRF, then that is generally done by obtaining a form from the PHRF office for your area, or downloading one online, and filling it out, making your own measurements. Most independent rating agencies, like PHRF, don't require that boats be measured by their national assn., because most brands of boats don't have an active national assn.

Whether we're talking about PHRF or the Catalina Assn., measurement is largely done on an honor system. At our national regatta, sometimes the sails are measured, but often even that isn't done. We have generally trusted that our members will not use oversized sails, and I have never had any reason to believe that our trust is not well founded. Likewise, I have never seen the boats examined to determine whether the hardware has been altered illegally. If anyone thinks someone's boat or hardware has been modified, or that their sails are oversized, any competitor can protest it.

If you plan to race in the upcoming National Regatta, don't worry about measurement. If it's done at all, it won't take long, and our objective has always been to make the racing fundamentally fair and to let all the boats race, not to nitpick measurements.
