Selling because my wife suffers vertigo for months after sailing. Currently on the hard at Bolling AFB in Washington, DC. Boat has always been sailed in the Potomac River near Washington, DC.
Bill Swanson Best time to reach me is during work hours at 703 465 4714.
The boat is a 2002 and the bimini is a bright blue. I am happy to sell it separately. I paid $350 for it. I let you have it for $300.00 if you pay the shipping. I'll happily send photos to anyone who contacts me with an email address and I will get some posted on a website soon.
Would you consider selling your trailer to me? If so how much. I recently purchased a 97 wing keel and am in the market for a trailer as I'm currently feeling crushed by slip/mooring/haul-out etc...
I went to see Bill's boat a few weeks ago. At the time I was already far along in negotiations for a C250WK that was closer to home, and I was looking for a "backup option" in case my negotiations fell through.
Bill was very gracious and patient with my questions, and clearly very knowledgeable about sailing and maintaining this boat. This boat is an outstanding specimen. Although I ultimately reached terms for the other boat closer to home, had things fallen through with that boat, I would have gone after this one immediately. (In fact, I selfishly waited to write this testimonial until after I closed on my current boat, which happened this past weekend.)
At his asking price this is an outstanding value (especially considering it includes a trailer), and anyone who is looking for a C250WK should contact Bill immediately to arrange for a showing. You will not be disappointed.

Are you serious about the Catalina 42? Is your wife's vertigo less on a large boat?
