I am at the point with this boat that I will give away what is left. Most of the good parts have been taken off but there is most of the interior left and the keel. I do not have any time to take individual parts off so come and get the boat and bring your trailer. The cost is FREE!! The boat is in Austin Texas. I can tow it locally for free. I can drop it in the water for you and you can bring your trailer and drag it home. If no takers soon, the boat is going to the dump.

IF YOU ARE NOT SERIOUSLY INTERESTED, PLEASE DONT WASTE OUR TIME!

The boat is a standard rig fixed keel. Mast/ boom/ standing rigging/ rudder/ stanchions/ winches/ gudgeons/ motor mount are available for sale if interested. They will go on ebay soon.

Is your keel lead? If so, it's worth salvaging it for the cash value, you can probably get in the neighborhood of $1/lb for it.

Cast iron's probably only worth maybe $0.30/lb or so, if that. Check with a local metal recycler before you go through the effort. I know my neighbor collects scrap steel from his truck wheeling & dealing & takes a load to a recycler somewhere every couple of months.

As far as the keel attachment, I'd imagine you could simply unbolt it? I'm not familiar with the keel design of the 25's, but our 250 has several 5/8-11 bolts holding the keel on.

Do you have the pop-top hold-downs? I guess they are called dogs. If you have them, I would be glad to pay for them.

I'm looking for a traveler car for our club's C-22. Do you still have that part? I'll gladly pay a little bit for it plus your shipping cost.

Sorry dont have the traveler car. It is really best to pay the 40$ boat bucks and get a new one from Catalina Direct
I do have cushions, boom, stanchions, a keel, a slide out galley and a 150 genoa for a catalina 22.

Yeah, that's what i told the guys doing most of the refurbishing - order a new car - but the question just popped into my head last night so I asked. RE: the 150 genoa for a C-22, what condition and type (dacron or mylar)? I don't need one, but I can poll the fleet members. What do you want for the C22 boom?
