Covered osmepneo for the winter yesterday and followed som of the advise given in a previous topic. I made two "X" supports for the mast one about five feet and the other about six feet. The six foot "X" support I put in the cockpit, on the sits forard of the lazarettes. The five foot "X" support was a bear to get up, and I found it fit at the forward-most life line stantion (sp?. Once each support was raised and supporting the mast, I ran "shrouds" on both sides, for and aft. I'm hoping these will keep the "X" supports up for the winter. Next I tied a fenders onto the mast, at the open part of the "X" support and ran a 29*19 tarp to cover everything.
I think the way I tied the cover, I will be able to get to the boat for painting and hull maintenance.
Hope this helps others, and I would be interested other's ways of covering.
