You've made lots of great contributions to the Forum, and I'm sad to see you planning to stay ashore. If you and your family ever visit DC, I'd be happy to show you a bit of the Chesapeake.
Hi Chris, Sorry you've had to come to this decision. You've offered some great advise and comradery. Good luck to you and I hope you'll hang around and continue to contribute to the forum.
Chris -- I'm really gonna miss you buddy. We hardly got to know you. Don't get too far away. And next time I'm up in the great white north, you've got to show me around Canadian Tire!
And if you're ever in the Stamford - New Haven area in southern Connecticut, I owe you and your wife a few drinks and dinner, and a spin on PASSAGE for all your help and good advice.
Look me up on Google, you'll find bruce2sail, a kayaker and Power Squadron member.
Ahhhh haaaa.... now you will no longer be a boat owner, but a prospective buyer! Try to make it last. It is a great place to be. I never had a boat I didn't love and when I was between boats I could love them all.
Thank You for your most interesting observations and for sharing.
Chris, This was really a surprise. Something drastic must have happened to have you give up sailing so soon. But I'm sure you will be back. If you want to come to Wisconsin sometime, we can go sailing on "Navy Too". Keep in touch. Roger
