In the Cruising forum there has been discussion on increasing the purchase of the outhaul. I have a different question. Has anyone routed their outhaul to a block at the mast base, then to a deck organizer and then back to a clutch? The stock location of the outhaul line on the boom is less than ideal for me.
We cannot direct the winds but we can adjust our sails.
Since the General is not a racer I have all lines to the cockpit for the Wednesday Beer Can Race, which hasn't been any fun lately with the afternoon thunder bumpers and fire works. Here are some pictures.

Nice setup! Thanks for the photos, it helps to see how you routed things. I assume that the outhaul system inside the mast is unchanged, correct? Also noted that the outhaul has an additonal line attached to it and I assume that is so you did not have to swap out the line that is already connected inside the boom.
I love 3M Command Hooks too! We have some on the boat, in the cabin, and all sorts of them in use at home. I'm going to look for some of the ones you have, great solution!
