I have my 2003 Catalina 250 up for sale. I am thinking of taking it down to SD for a three day weekend sail before she sells. I want to take her down and sail for the weekend and leave it there for a week or two than go back and sail again before bringing her back. I am looking for a place to put it during the two weeks that might help her sell. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Call Ineke Schreurs at Marina Village in Mission Bay. She will set you up. (619)224-3125. Ask to stay on "L" Dock and you can hook up with Jim Baumgart while you're there. You can sail within Mission Bay or there is easy access to the ocean and La Jolla or Point Loma. Marina Village has showers, laundry, food and parking. Don't let them put you adjacent to the banquet rooms or you'll be listening to wedding parties all night. Marina Village

Come on down, the slip next to me is open! Like Joe (Sloop Smitten) said.

I think you'll have more fun in Mission Bay and San Diego Bay is only a few hours sail away (and about a 10 minute drive).

We'll give you the Fleet 7 welcome.
