I've never seen a scoresheet with this name at the top before...

Of course if our times continue to look like this, I may have to get used to it... How do you define "Horizon job" is it radio contact or visual?

"Iris"

Take a minute to register your boat with the association!!

If you sail on an inland lake, a "horizon job" is visual. On the Great Lakes I suppose you'd have to be hull down!
Congrats Chris - great performance!

This was posted on my home club's racing forum today. I didn't realize it earlier...

"Carl you are right Iris had the best corrected time on Saturday.
> the best flying sail corrected time was 3:49:39
> the best white sail low was 3:44:01
> Chris's corrected time was 3:32:30!"

I'm still reliving this...

Steve & I were right - a C25 can be a good racing boat in PHRF.

Congratulations!

And even if you end up selling your boat at the end of the season, your renown will last forever, and you can ride off into the sunset like the Lone Ranger!

They'll be asking "Who was that masked man" on the Catalina?

...and in the distance they will hear faintly "Hi-Oh, Iris!!!!!!!!"

Great... now I have to go and buy a mask.

Day 2's results were more normal.

2nd place to Newfie Screach by 3 minutes. Damn him. I know exactly where I lost each one of those minutes too. He'll pay next time...

That's a "horizon job" by any definition! What's really cool, though, is knowing that, if you did it once, you can do it again!

Thanks Steve!

The flying sail winner was an Olsen 911 (PHRF 153) with a huge green chute. Looked realy nice.

CORRECTION:
The 911 came in second. A niagara 26 won.
