I want to replace my jib sheets with one continuous sheet that I can attach to the clew with what I have seen referred to as a cow hitch. With the bewildering array of cordage available, what would be the best to use? Thanks.
Sta-set or Sta-set X is low enough stretch for sheets, and it is easy on the hands. Diameter is your balance of thick enough to comfortably grip versus weight in lighter air. Strength is not really an issue because loads won't approach the swl of even 3/8 line. I use Stay-set X.
