Mundane question: Has anyone removed the covers from the quarterberth mattress, washed them in a machine, then put them back on? They need cleaning, and I see that they do have zippers to remove the cover from the padding. Just wondering: Will I have a problem getting them back on?
Thought I'd check before removing. Thanks.

We washed all of ours a while back. We used the gentle cycle with Woolite, and then dried them in the sun. Getting the covers back on was a bit of a trick, but patience will get you there. We tucked the corners of the foam into the seams carefully, and then you have to kind of keep a hand on those corners as your partner tugs on the fabric to get it where it needs to be. It's definitely a job for two people. Make sure you mark the cushions and their specific covers, it'll make it much easier to put them back together in the right order. We learned that lesson the hard way, and now have ours marked.
You might want to get this moved into the C-250 forum, you'll get more responses specific to your boat.
If you put the foam pieces in a plastic bag, they will slide back into the covers earier. Make sure that you arrange the bag/foam so that you have the closed end of the bag at the zipper so you can pull the bag out of the re-assembled cushion.

Better yet place the nozzle of a shop vac in the open part of the bag. Close the opening around the vacuum’s nozzle and turn it on. The cushion will shrink down to the size of a postage stamp. (Well maybe not that small)
