I know this has been a topic many times....the deck mast light wire plug.... 2006 ....Lights aren't working and upon inspection I found a wire has corroded ...it easily pulled out of the top of the plug. Does anyone have a source for a new plug? Thanks, Bob
I'm going to throw in a opinion here even if it wasn't asked for. If these are the same connectors as are made by Sea Dog (and I'm pretty sure they are), I'd go way out of my way to avoid using them. It's a horrible design, the wire lugs are too small, the itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny screws that "secure" the wires into the lugs are nearly impossible to deal with, and are so tiny you are lucky to find them when they fall out of the lugs (and they will). I bought two as Randy suggests, ended up swearing at the first one, losing one of the screws, breaking one of the tabs, and generally hating them. I took them both back and went with another solution from another manufacturer.
Thanks guys.. I love this board...ask and ye shall receive. I'll buy the ones Bob sent the link for (two of them)to get me going.... and then look around for a better mouse trap. Bob
