We finished our Fall Series yesterday. Raced against a J-105, J-80, Cal 24-3, Catalina 25 SR, C&C 35-3 and a Precision 23. Winds were basically light, up to about 8k. We took 3 bullets and a 3rd to win the Series. Thank goodness for light air and a great crew!

My friend and I just won a light air race yesterday in the Good Old Boat Regatta, on the Chesapeake Bay, sailing one design against other Pearson Tritons. You never get over the thrill of a hard-fought battle, especially when surrounded by all those beautiful old classics.
The GOB is a 2-day regatta. Saturday the race was abandoned because of too much wind. Had it not been abandoned, all the Tritons planned to race with a double-reefed mainsail and a small blade jib. Racing with such small sail area would have been a first for me. (I'm glad they abandoned it.)
