I am looking for any recommendation on "Cruising Guides" to the North Channel and/or The Pacific Northwest.
We are not sure which direction we will go first, but would like to read up on the areas with a good guide book.
Thanks Kristen & Randy

The only guide I can recommend for the North Channel is titled "Well-Favored Passage" written by Marjorie Cahn Brazer. The latest edition I am aware of is copyright 2008 by Pixie Haughwout and Ralph Folsom. The 2008 edition is published by Sea Fever Gear Publications. You can reach them at:
826 Amiford Drive, San Diego, CA 92107

I find this guide to be near perfect for a traveler interested in the North Channel. I met them at a Chicago "all sail" show 2 years ago. I don't think you will be disappointed. Good luck with your travel plans and subsequent voyages. Sorry, I can not say we have made the trip yet. Best wishes, Dave Otey

As resident curmdugeon, I'm going to suggest that very nice picture of that pretty boat is kinda big for a signature...

Hey Glen, gee I wonder who that beauty belongs to? I think I've met that captain over a rum or two.

I agree Dave B, I have to resize it. Then again the average eyes in this forum could probably use the help...lol

The Waggoner Cruising Guide is the ultimate source for PNW cruising. Outstanding book with everything you need. Fun to read while you dream or plan your trip. Highly recommended.
