Looking back on this year's inventions, here's a couple of ideas I had. What's your's?
#1. I made a 50' 12v extension lead with cigarette lighter plugs on each end for when I have to inflate the tires on the trailer.
The long cable is made of 16 gauge copper wire to reduce voltage drop(I used the twin cable from Lowes normally used for 12v outdoor landscape lighting).
The cable is long enough to reach from my truck 12v outlet to either side of the trailer and connects to my 12v Compressor/flashlight.
#2. I used the same type of cable to make an extension for the hand held air pump used to blow the ballast on our C250, but it also reaches to the dock so that we can inflate the dink dockside. (After the battery died on the old pump, I replaced the unit with one that did not use a battery, hence the long cable) Paul
