As per the Association Bylaws (Section VII – C) Association Fleets will be given first priority but any member(s) may submit a bid. This years Nationals are being hosted by Jim Baumgart, our past Commodore, in San Diego in conjunction with International Catalina 30 Association, The San Diego All Catalina Association and Silver Gate Yacht Club this coming September. It looks to be a great National Regatta and will represent our Association well. You can view the Notice of Race and the entry forms on our website under the “Racing” section. http://www.catalina-capri-25s.com/racing/racing.asp Our Nationals have been in all parts of the country from Portland Oregon, Lake Erie, and Kansas. If your fleet or a group of members feel that you can get a real interest in fellow members to get together for a weekend or more to race and socialize please step right up and submit a bid. Please write a bid proposal with a brief description of the venue, the racing and what the participants can expect when they get there. This does not need to have all the details but should give the officers an idea of how prepared your fleet is to be the host. We look forward to seeing your bids.
