Hello All,

I am looking for a mainsail for my Catalina 25 swing keel standard mast height. I want something that my wife and I can cruise on. I currenty have a J24 mainsail which I am willing to trade. It is in fair shape (tired) Probably a decent tax deduction though.

I have a new mainsail coming for my C25 standard rig. My used main is still in fairly good shape. I was just going to keep it as a back up, but if you are interested I would sell it.

rhbush - what year and model is your boat? Do you think the sail is original to the boat? Are the batten pockets OK? Are the battens intact?

I just checked, and my new main is due in 2 weeks. I have heard that before! I'll take $125.00 plus shipping for my used one when my new one arrives if anyone is still interested. I am guessing it is the original 1984. It is a standard rig main.

Hey all!
I also have sails to sell: 1984 std. rig Main and furling Jib. They are in decent, sail-able shape for their age. The jib needs a new sacrificial UV luff tape, as it's gotten tatty, and probably a few touch-ups. I will be laying it out to measure soon. The main just had a good going over last week by North Sails in Salem MA to repair a seam and reinforce a batten pocket. ($72.30) I believe I have all the battens.
I'm asking $172.30 for the main, and $150 for the jib, or $300 for the set plus shipping. They will be listed on Craig's List NH soon, and perhaps Ebay later. I will try to take some pics when I lay them out.
I also have the original Standard Horizon depth and speed instruments and transponder/paddle wheel to sell. I don't know that they work, but one or the other may. The paddle wheel spins freely. I have been told they are valuable at least for parts. I'll try to save the transponder cables when I take them out. Sold as a set. Make an offer!

Thanks, Glenn

Well, there's a fella in Ontario who has all but paid for it, and I would like to ship because I'm moving next week. I'll give him one more try, and then it's yours!

That would be great. Do you have dimensions on the sails? The main I am for sure interested in assuming it is the standard rig correct sail. The one I have that blew out was very very small. The jib would be something I put in the closet until I get the roller furling setup.
I will send you my phone # through email here.

Thanks

Andy

O.T. - Andy, I just looked at your bio. The guys who read the cruising forum here (including me) would love to see some pics and stories from your circumnavigation.

No problem. Love to tell the stories but always feel like I am bragging. Tell me where to post.

It was 6 years, 47 countries and 50,000 miles.

Hey Andy,
I finally heard back from Jim in Ontario, and shipped him the main today. I still have the genoa though if you are interested. Also have a single spring stainless motor mount, and a J-24 jib that was cut down to a deck-sweeper for a Catalina 22 if anyone is interested in those. The jib has snap/strap hanks, and is in very decent condition.

Thanks, Glenn

Is the genoa the one set up for furling? If not what are the dimensions and condition?
