Sorry, I just saw this. The weekend was not a good one for sailing. We had an OK evening sail on Saturday. Sunday was so light we ended up motoring to the different racing marks to add way points from my friend's GPS.
Did you email me your cell? We could trade numbers that way and see what's up for this weekend. This coming Saturday night several sailboats are doing a raft up in a cover on the south end of the lake.
We sailed Sunday... had OK air until the end of the dyke then it completely died. So we went swimming and enjoyed some champaign to celebrate the new boat. The boat had a 155 that the previous owner never set. I would love to look at your rigging to see how you are set up. Email me at djdurrett at gmail dot com and I will respond. I think I emailed you at a yahoo address from my bbvacompass.com email (work). If so, my cell is on the bottom.

We will probably tie up at Bass Pro docks and have a couple beers at the Flying Saucer, than we will sail south across the lake to the first cover south of RCYC here:
Let me check with the war department for wednesday. What time is boat time?
I would love to get out sometime. It has been a few years. The majority of my sailing experience is crewing: mostly middle trimming the headsail and spinnaker. I have done some foredeck but I am a big guy so it has mainly been on big boats. All my skippering in races has been on collegiate 420's and laser that I had in college. Other than that, I have a bunch of helm time cruising. I was one of three on Baylor's sloop team and went all the way to the National Championships in Newport Beach California. I have also crewed for several years in the late 90's on the J24 circuit and filled in on the J22 circuit. Sailed a few Lukemia Cups and NOOD regattas in the gulf. Other than that, it has been a little here and there on J80's, J105's and level 70 class offshore boats >37+ feet on the TORC circuit (used to be a member of Houston Yacht Club when I lived there). But like I said, it has been a number of years, so I am pretty rusty.

Oh man that's awesome, we really need somebody good on the sheets. We leave the dock no later than 6:30PM, race is at 7PM on a mid point between Bayview and Chandlers. After the race, everyone gets together and grills, has a beer etc. Let me know if the time works out for you and I'll call Keelan.
I used to race 420's and Lasers at Tabor Academy.
EDIT: Just remembered we are committee this week. You're still welcome to join us, or maybe we can race my boat if Keelan doesn't need my help.
