San Diego's forecast is winds 15 to 20, gusting 25, seas to 10 feet, and drizzle.

I have to give a sailing lesson, may cancel.

On your way back up to Bodkin Creek you might want to take a break before your last hour of sailing and stop at the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival, which will be in progress in Sandy Point State Park. You won't be able to miss the sound out on the water, and you should see 2 big screens on the sides of the stage. Chuck Berry ends Sunday's concerts with a show beginning at 7pm.

It's just north of the Bay Bridge on the western shore.

limey and John,

If the weather is agreeable, I'm thinking about running over to Bluesfest Sunday (from Kent Island). Do we have raft-up potential? I'm thinking VHF-16 might not be the way to communicate... just sayin'.

Tom, while i would love to raft up i am making this long sail with some friends and we all need to be back earlier rather then later. also, this is my first weekend with this boat so i am trying to play it simple. Some time this summer!

here is a pic of the route i am taking, it was supposed to be included with my initial post but for some reason wont display (i am coding it properly)... hrm.

we are overnighting in Solomons, should be fun!
