Buzz,

As I remember, the underside of my 1979 C-25 (#1460) anchor locker hatch cover looks like it has a thin glassed-in plywood core in the center area, extending to within about 1-1/2" to 2" in from all edges. The very outer lip of the fiberglass tu

sometimes it's easier to simply replace some things...seems I've seen hatch covers available from Catalina Direct.Think the price was pretty reasonable, they have a REAL nice catalog/ wish book too! Good luck!
