I was walking by a C25 this weekend and saw a cover that uses the same snaps for the poptop cover - This one looks like it's made of Sunbrella material and neatly fits over the main part of the cabin and the covers the companionway hatch. I have spoken to the owner and the cover came with the boat. There was a seal on it that said "Canvas by Caves & Cliffs"
I searched the regular engines on the internet to no avail.
Has anyone heard of this company or another canvas fabricator who carries such a product.

Sam,
Many of the C25s at our marina (here in Pittsburgh) have the cover you're referring to. These are custom made because the snaps are not all in the same place from boat to boat, while some have cabin top winches and others do not, plus the length and position of the hand rails changed over the years.
It's not a difficult item - any qualified canvas maker could do it.

Could you guys post a picture of this? I've never seen one...I'm in the market for a new sail cover and a combo cover sounds great! Would it work with the pop top up?

Folks,

I will post some photos - It will take a week or so before I am back @ the Marina.

OJ - I also have the traditional poptop cover in nylon.
Aren't these standard which would allude to some standardization on the placement of the snaps. I will check out the variance on a couple boats here.

Good point Sam. While the female side of the snaps on the poptop cover may be uniform - the overall dimensions of the cover will change with changes in ambient air temperature. This would impact the positioning of the male side of the snap on the cabin. As the cover is an option, I believe dealers install the male snaps in the field - meaning you have a whole host of personnel installing snaps.

I looked for a photo of the cabin cover - no luck. This would be a good picture to post - it's a popular item at out marina.
