It's that time of year. There's the bird and the bees. And along with that there's bird poop on everything including my canvas mainsail and life line covers. It's not the easiest substance to scrub off of canvas covers. Every other surface can be taken care of easily all except the canvas. If you use a product that removes every trace of dung I'd appreciate knowing about it. Thanks.

I'd be cautious taking a presure washer to the sail cover. If you use that technique be very careful. We keep our sail cover treated like Dave said. When we get bird poop we just scrub it with soap and water. UV rays help get rid of the stain too. StarBrite makes a vinyl cleaner that will help with the lifelines.
Thanks for the help here. Ahead of this post I was already thinking a treatment for the cover after the excrement has been removed as being that "ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" solution to this problem.
