Im thinking about buying the balanced rudder from Catalina Direct
for my 82 Catalina 25
as the original rudder is splitting along the back, i also noticed that the other Catalina 25's at my dock also have this problem
My question is will this add any p

We replaced the rudder, gudgeon and pintles. The boat is much easier to steer and seems faster. I highly recomend the balanced rudder. It is worth the cost and work.
