I bought myu boat from a guy at Ford yacht club in Detroit. I can fire him off an email, but no guarantee he'll reply. OTOH, you could go for a stroll along the waterfront adn just say hi to people and ask them.

Brands - had a friend take his boat there after a port/starboard incident. Work is solid.
Very true, and I absolutely will go take a few walks and chat with people. Great idea. I just wanted to see if there were any recommendations here first because I know there are a lot of Great Lakes sailors here!
I will look into Brands, thank you! It's a little far away from us but if it's quality then it will be worth the time.
You may want to call Catalina Yachts and ask who their dealer is in the area. I lived in Toledo 30+ years ago and sailed once out of a club in the Point Place area where there were many dealers/yards. I would think their may be a Catalina dealer nearby.
