Say it ain't so! But it is. My wife and I have decided to move on to other endeavors. She is not as enthused with sailing anymore and the great comfort of this boat is going to waste. I on the other hand may try my hand at a bit faster racing boat, maybe a capri 25 or 22. Or I may turn to the darkside and buy something other than a Catalina. Anyway . . . . . .
Forgiveness is up for sale and is an outstanding boat, well taken care of and very clean. After all, this was my second love and I've spent many enjoyable hours modifying her and keeping her ship shape.
I've created a website to view all the details, come visit just to see what she holds for you. I'm not in a hurry, the price is reasonable, but she is very clean. She also has seen only one winter outside (that scoundrel of a previous owner!)
Turk! It's hard to believe the happy guy standing on the leeward side of the cabin-top while under way singlehanded is selling his boat! But life's a journey...
Nice presentation on the website! Forgiveness looks great, and well loved! Best of luck!

OK, what manufacturer and part # is the spring you added to the hatch. I want that!

Randy
I did not buy it, it was in a box of parts I had laying around from another boat.
You should sell the web page to dealers... very nice. I think you are selling it because you want to work on something else. What a beautiful boat, and what beautiful work you do.

Good luck, Turk!!! Hope you will have as much enjoyment in your new activities as you have had with sailing! It's been an honor learning from you and your experiences, as from those of the other members of this Forum!

Forgiveness is still available! I have decided to get creative and will provide delivery to certain locations around the county. If your interested in a fresh water boat, maybe we can work something out. I even have a son who lives mountain view california. I also have a conference coming up in Las Vegas in May. Will I deliver there? Let's just say, under certain conditions.
Today my boat Forgiveness sold. It is wonderful that I've moved on, but in the same light, I will miss this forum and all the great friends I've met and the discussions we've had. The new owner will be joining you here on the forum and I know you will fill him with lots of informative topics.
The new owner will be docked at my marina and will be getting sailing instructions from me. He has also indicated he will be entering the monday night sailing races here at the lake. I've signed on as crew
I did acquire another boat in the transaction. I am the proud owner of a 16 ft. Hobie cat! Meow!
Congratulations on the sale! No need to miss us here on the forum. You;re always welcome.
Have fun with the Hobie. I owned one for 5 years in my late teens/early 20's. Loved every minute. I've actually been considering buying another one. I love the speed!
