Does anybody know how to tighten the turning pivot on these motors? Presently it turns too easily for a motor that needs to push forward most of the time and I would like to snug it up a bit.

Steve,

It's been awhile but I seem to remember a spring loaded 7/16" bolt on the port side of the engine just below the powerhead.

This is how we did it in Alabama. The engine is still running.. (1974)
