I cooked yet another computer. Don't ask. I now have lost all my "Favorites". Does anyone have the NWS weather link that provides graphical projections of wind, temp, precip probability all on one page?

Not for nothing (as they say in Brooklyn), but I've been a big fan of backing up several more of my computer files than I had in the past [again, don't ask!]. Many of us regularly back up our working documents (i.e. PC's My Documents). I also back up my desktop documents (I keep many of them in a folder on my desktop), my Internet Favorites (PC users, look at c:usersyour_account) and you can copy that.
In the past I've used portable disk drives as a backup, but I now use R+W DVDs for this purpose. They are capable of holding 4+GB, which is fine for me. Some folks understandably need a lot more storage, so you can build up several DVDs or buy a 4TB drive or SAN.
And don't forget to back up your photos and music files. This can require dozens of DVDs, depending on the size of your collection.

You might find it easier to use one of the on line "cloud" services like mozy.com and typically a better cost proposition.
If you have a mobile phone, be sure to download sailflow's mobile application. I have it on my iphone4 and LOVE the forecast for sailing. I can check in the morning and have a pretty good idea of what is going to happen wind-wise that evening.
