Read the Q & A section....over and over again the replies are the same...
THIS IS AT A PRIVATE MARINA AND SHE CAN NOT BE VIEWED IF THE MARINA FINDS OUT BOAT WAS DONATED WE NEED TO REMOVE IT RIGHT AWAY AS IT IS FOR RESIDENCE PEOPLE ONLY BOAT WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF WINNING BOAT NO EXCEPTIONS THEY ARE VERY STRICT THERE SORRY
It looks like one of those "donated" boats... They can be (not always, but sometimes) much more of a pain than they are worth though.
We ran in to some big problems with a "donated" boat several years ago when we were looking at one. It was a very nice boat but its previous owner had "donated" it because of its delinquent storage fees he had not payed. We got the same line from the sellers, "sorry you can't see it because of blah, blah, blah..." We ended up tracking it down and calling the marina it was at and it turned out the guy owed thousands (upon thousands) of delinquent storage fees and we could not take it home until they were paid.
There's a roll of the dice! A $5000 (?) boat in CT for $1000 to an unidentified "company" in FL, sight unseen, where the boat could have liens on it from the marina, the bank, the canvas maker,.......
Who knows--maybe we'll end up with a new member and we'll find out "the rest of the story."
