Recently purchased a C25 swing keel (84 model). Waiting for my new trailer to get here so I can bring her home (nothing like waiting to the last minute, huh?).But, seems I've read somewhere that the published weights are WAY light....that I should expect

Sounds like my Chevy 1500 Z71 will be able to pull mine out/in of the water then. Just bought the truck with that intention only. Decided it makes more since to invest in the truck then the slip. Besides that, I only have to tow it about 1/2 mile to dry

1500 series Z71? I have the exact truck except mine's a GMC
(big deal, same thing). Of course, you HAD to rub it in about being
only a half mile to the slip......

I have a 1980 swing and she weighs a total with motor on the trailer #6600. I have a friend with a 3/4 ton truck and she pulls just fine. We only go 80 miles one way twice a year.

Don on Namaste' #1929

My '78 SK goes on an EZLoader trailer. Weight empty is about #1260 on the axles, with maybe 200# tongue weight. Add 4500 + for the boat, engine and some gear, and I've always figured something over 6K. The weights listed in earlier posts sound just abo

I just completely rebuilt my EZ Loader brake system this year, including new backing plate assemblies (which include brake linings, wheel cylinders and all related hardware), master cylinder, and brake lines. The parts cost about $450.00. I installed them

I also have an E-Z Loader trailer, 1980 vintage that could use a brake rebuild. Still stops well, but the shoes are almost worn out. Buying complete backing plate assemblies would be simpler and probably not much more bucks than just shoes and r

I moved from Ohio to Las Vegas a year ago and pulled my WK C25 out here with an 1999 F150 (V8)...as mentioned before, I knew the beast was back there but it wasn't too bad. When I got to Vegas I had to weigh the boat/trailer (the Air Force actually paid m

Kenobie51,

I bought my parts at a local boat dealership. EZ Loader is a big enough company that I would bet most boat dealers could order parts for you. As I recall, the backing plate assemblies cost about $60.00 each, which gives you all new parts, fu
