OK.. Impressionistic at best. I promise to bring my real camera. Just testing the camera on my new smart phone. Smart Phone, not a smart camera. Good for "Chimping" ( where you look at the images on the back of the phone and go Wo wo wo ) but not good for photography.

Not perfect but not bad either. And of course if you reduced the size a little it'd get sharper. How many megapixel?

Samsung captive s with a 5 mp camera but the "chip" noise is really crappy. I'm sure you could output a great 5x7 but still, it makes my eyes hurt to look at it. You want things to really look real...like from this camera.

( not my shot but a friends )

Those are great photos. Amazing how in the old days 1 pix was pretty good, not we have to have 10+. I must be getting old cuz I cant tell the diff. They all look so good. I just use my IPhone. Rarely my 4mega pix camera except for Thanksgiving!

I've got an Olympus 2 megapixel that I just love, most of the pics you see from me are taken with it. It's as much about a quality lens as anything..

Shooting for the web doesn't require much when the photos are small and usually the detail is reduced to shorten download times. I bring along my Canon EOS 7D for serious shooting, but I've also been really impressed with my iphone 4. Take a look at this picture, I shot it with one hand using my iphone and then pulled up the free Photoshop Mobile App to convert it to black and white. The whole process took about 60 seconds, including emailing it to my blog. The videos on the blog post are also shot with the iphone. The copy of the picture below is reduced, if you click on the one in the blog it will open up a full sized one. Its big enough that I am currently using it as my computer wallpaper. phones have come a long long way...
