That's at the mouth of the Cuyahoga and is no longer in use.

I was driving along the lake yesterday and was surprised to see a lot of ice on the lake. Still navigable though, an large vessel (an ore boat?) was headed west along the horizon. Maybe the lake will freeze over earlier this year and decrease the amount of "Lake Effect" snow we'll have this winter.

I'm pleased to report that we're enjoying a heat wave today. Nearly 30 degrees today!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yup - it was so warm I only wore 1 coat to go out and feed the chickens this morning...

Actually its been breathtaking driving to work this week. Every morning we get another 2 inches of soft powder. Makes for a real winter wonderland. By the time we drive home at night though, things have frozen up and the roads are a little more dicey. A good time to put on a some mellow music and take it easy. I haven't been down around the lake lately. Maybe I should take a drive.

Some of the frozen road slush actually fell off my Jeep today. I need to start going to Florida after Thanksgiving instead of January.

We're in the 90's & overcast here. Forecast is for more of the same, pretty much throughout the year.

Temp got into the mid 70's here today. Beautiful West Texas sunset "red sky at night" , but unfortunately i spent most of the weekend and ALL of my energy on a water leak in the barn instead of polishing my hull like i had intended to. Sooner or later i will actually see if i can get this boat off the trailer and find out if it floats!
