Within the next month I'm replacing the interior floor carpet with teak/holly laminate. There are several marine laminates on the market and I'm not sure which will serve me well. Nuteak? Plasteak? Lonseal? Or another brand? Any information would be appreciated.

I have th teak and holly stuff but I need to replace it. I have seriously considered marine grade teak and holly veneer plywood. Here is a link http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=51940& BASE You can actually get this product cheaper elsewhere. I believe I found a distributor in Natic MA for around 100 dollars cheaper, in fact. Over all this may be a much more cost effective and nicer looking alternative to nu teak or plas teak. How will it hold up? I don't know.
I got samples from PlasTeak in the mail... You might be able to do the same with the others. I know of boat builders who are using PlasTeak... NuTeak looks nicer on their website. Both should outlast you.

PlasTeak (AKA PlasDeck) will also make faux teak handrails and other parts to your specifications. I suspect you could get a full set of companionway trim and hatch boards.
