We hels our annual Frostbite yesterday. Temp 54. Race 1 was in a very light breeze and just before the start of race 2 the wind picked up. Very quickly reached 14k gusting to 20+. With a 150 headsail and a full main it got quite interesting at times (especially with the large roach on our main...) The wind was (as usual) shifty and fluky - we got so severely headed a couple of times that we had a back-winded jib laying us over. We finished 2nd to a well sailed J22 in all 3 races. We could gain on him downwind with a poled-out genoa but going to weather he walked away from us. All in all a great days racing.

HHhhmmmmm, isn't it funny. One race [see "racing with Tom Curran"]and all the sudden the racing forum is wwwaaayyy fun and I want to race again! Sounds like a Challenge, can't imagine winds that fluky, they're not usually like that here in Daytona.
