Dave, I was sitting out at Boulder talking to a fellow C-25 sailor while we were waiting to get hauled out for the Winter. He was telling me about some guy by the name of Dave who was sailing on the lake several weeks ago at such a high rate of speed it made him feel he was in reverse. As you are the only Dave I know of I suspect it was you. We decided you should either attach a sea anchor to slow you down or give us a few tips. Its very demoralizing to be sailing along and have someone sail by making a bow wave rocking the boat. Whats the secret..good sail trim...clean bottom...jet assist?
it's the new 454 ci efi option offered by ullman sails in ventura ca. as i sit on the beach here in destin i have to wonder why you guys are picking on me. i am preparing to have our cow (not turkey) grilled by late afternoon on thanksgiving. if for some unknown reason i decide never to return to where the white stuff melts and stay here where you can lay in the white stuff. you can have the 454. just enjoy your turkey tomorrow and next summer let's meet in cove four for a toddie and i'll show how to mount the engine and get away with everyone thinking you can sail so fast.
happy thanksgiving bob and i do want to meet dave holtgrave 5722 tr/sk
