I hope you all are safely making it through the winter!

I'm ordering the magma kettle 2 grill for my C250 and need to know the rail size for mounting it. My gut says go with the smallest mount but if anyone knows for sure or any better ideas for mounting it would save me a 2 hour drive to measure.

Thanks so much!
Spring won't get here fast enough.

I think it is 1" rail. Magma mount #A10-080 for 1" and 1 1/8" rail.

Same here on our '97, 1" rail mount. We have the same grill and really like it.

Make sure you read the instructions, and don't try to assemble it over the water (they warn you about this in the instructions). I ignored the instructions, or more properly never read them till after the fact. I didn't drop any pieces in the drink, but it wasn't for lack of trying…

Will, I have had the Magna for 3 or 4 years and love it. I got the 17" and recommend it. The smaller one would not cut it for me. I throw on the meat, veggies, taters and what ever else I can find. It still fires up with the push of a button. You can see a pic below of it above the Admirals head. Good luck.

Love my Magma, bought it in 1980 and have replaced the grill once over the years. It's had a lot of use, it's charcoal, probably last my lifetime.
