The Edson Small Boat Wheel Steering System has been inadequate on the C250 but there is a solution to making it into a fine system. The open wire steering conversion addresses the issues such as lack of arc compensation, poor leverage ratio, excess drag of sheathed cables and failure points of the Edson system.

The conversion remains available.
