She IS the youngest around for now! Unlike Abby, she seems a bit more clearheaded. But then again Jessica's parents are not bible thumping their way to a reality TV show and forcing their kids to do tough stuff just for media attention.

I agree, Sten. I followed her trip on her blog and felt she was very prepared and level-headed. Quite the opposite for Abby.

Jessica just announced that she will captain an all "under 21" team in the next Rolex Sydney-Hobart race.

She completed this last year.

The video shots of her sailing by herself back into Sidney harbor should inspire those to give singlehanded sailing a try. Once I started, I never looked back.
