SOLD: Complete Hood SeaFurl 705 furler for $200 plus shipping. This came with my 1989 TR/WK C-25, so it's about 22 years old, but fully functional. Note that it's sized for a tall rig, but could be cut down for use on a standard rig. What's included: assembled drive unit with continuous furling line; centering clamp (new in 2009); halyard swivel assembly; all splice pieces and luff bearings; all luff sections; original manual with assembly instructions and parts list. What's not included: rivets to hold the luff sections together. As mentioned above, everything works well, but I would recommend replacing the top bearings and a couple of fairlead sheaves. Those parts are still available through Pompanette, where I got the centering clamp a couple of years ago. Please email for more info: solomonfsmith@gmail.com.
