It would be a good idea for you to update your profile providing more info on your self, your boat, and your sailing venues. Also, if you have not already, add your boat to the owners list (see the link in the list on the left.)
Thanks Paul, I will start hauting these pages and introduce myself better when time permits. We purchased the boat last week, painted bottom and launched this week, and start the renovation next week.
While you are looking for a Catalina canvas pop-top cover, you can also use a 6x8 or 8x8 tarp over the pop-top and bungee it to the stanchion bases. It won't help with bugs, but it will cover the pop-top and surrounding deck against light rain and still allow ventilation. A 6x8 tarp over the boom, bungeed to the lifelines give good cockpit cover too.
He would know better than I would. I only know about it because he offered it to me not realizing I already have one. He is a really good guy and very knowledgable about the C25 and sailing in general. I'm sure if you respond to his ad he will get back to you and answer any questions you may have. Hope it works out for you.
Still waiting for an answer from Capn' Kevs friend. offered a shipped price, and no info on wether it would fit or not. If I do purchase and it doesn't fit the 80' I will offer to you Gary at purchased price.

The guy called me Friday but I didn't return his call. I didn't know where you were in your negotiations with him and I didn't want to interfere.
Chris, since my earlier post I've learned a few new things about these boats and I don't think an '84 cover will work on an '89 due to the changes in the way the pop top is designed but thanks for the offer.
If anyone knows differently please let me know.
If anyone has a cover for an '89 I'm still looking.
