I use Firefox as my web browser. When I bookmark a site Firefox includes an icon for the site. It does this for just about every site I bookmark but it doesn't for this site (my bookmark goes to the Association Forum). Is there something this site can do to resolve this? Not a big deal but I'd prefer to see the Association logo rather than the plain white box for this site on my Bookmark tool bar.
We cannot direct the winds but we can adjust our sails.
It's not hard....they just have to create a 16x16 icon of the logo, call it favicon.ico and stick it in the root of the site. You can also do the same for each subfolder, with a different icon and the appropriate link coding to override the root icon.
This way you can have an icon for the main association forum and one for each sub forum, appropriate to the sub forum.
