I purchased the C250 mast gates from CatalinaDirect. They came as a pair for $32.95. Like most C250s, I only needed one of them because the slot is only on one side of the track. So I am offering the second one (1 mast gate + 2 screws) for $16.50, with free shipping in the US.
Adding the mast gate allows the sail slugs to fall all the way to the boom instead of being stopped above the slot. This provides better sail shape when reefed, eliminates the need for a jack line on your bottom sail slug, and allows you to install a second reef.
Let me know if you are interested.

Turtle - Thanks for your inquiry. Based on John's suggestion I have decided to hold on to the spare. Just my luck it will fall overboard first time I remove it.
CatalinaDirect has them, and it looks like they no longer force you to buy a pair.
