Wow! I'd survey it first, but that could be well worth some shipping costs. Note to prospective buyers: The '89 C-25 was the first year of the last and best evolutionary step of this boat. One big improvement is a lower, flatter cabin sole (more headroom) due to the elimination of the swing keel option. Of over 6,000 C-25s built since 1976, only a little over 200 of this version were built before production ceased in 1991 to make way for the lighter, less costly C-250.
Gary, if I was still looking I would take you up on that.
I have a buddy with a Chevy 2500 HD....Duramax diesel and Allison transmission, 4 door long bed....so between that truck and Gary's trailer, if anyone wants this boat....we can make it happen...

Do you think, that its possible to contact Catalina Yachts to build one C25? <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
Of course. If you have enough $$$$$$$ to offer them to build one more, I'm sure they'd do it. Even if they don't have the molds and have to do it by hand.
But why? For the kind of money you're going to cough up, you could buy a used Hinckley or any other number of large blue water boats.
Was just curious so I sent an email to Catalina if they can build new C25 and here is the answer. I would assume that the price would be the double of new C250 :-( Anybody interested if they will build a new set of boats, let's say 10?
Thomas,
I like the 25 as well. It was the 1st boat I sailed after moving down here. We probably could....but the cost to build just one would be out of sight. (We are set up and geared to build no fewer than a dozen at a time or the profit goes out the window) With over 6,400 of the 25's built, there are some nice ones out there on the pre-owned market for you to buy.......
