I had planned to sail Saturday morning before the afternoon thunderstorms started, but the thunder and lightening at 0700 dissuaded me and I diverted to maintenance tasks. I did find time to check out a friend's newly acquired power boat - air conditioning is pretty sweet when its 74ยบ and humid at night - and another friend's C-320, that is pretty nice too. Back to the thread. Listened to NOAA before hitting the sack with a marine weather advisory about thunderstorms around the islands with winds up to 50 knots. I was impressed until they issued another advisory farther east for a line with winds in excess of 75 knots. That would even be breezy in Kansas
