I have a Catalina 250 TR with 3/16" stays which do not work with my PT-1 Loos gauge. Wondering if anyone out there would have a PT-2 they might trade for a PT-1 for a little extra scratch?

Mike,
This isn't going to be overly helpful, but I searched all of Craigslist when I was in your exact position (still have the Loos PT-1).

You can do so by using this search string in your browser:

site:craigslist.com "pt-2"

I'm not seeing anything right now, but it lets you search all of CL instead of just your city.

Good luck with your search. If you're local to Seattle, you're welcome to borrow mine.

I wish you had posted this a year ago. I have a PT-2 and was looking to trade it for a PT-1.

I would have posted my request here but didn't think anyone here would want a PT-2. I didn't realize that the TR model has 3/16" standing rigging.

I posted on other sites and mailing lists for larger boats (hoping someone had upgraded from a smaller boat), but couldn't find a trade within my time limit, so I went ahead and bought the PT-1.

I do still have the near-mint PT-2 and will offer it to you for $85 plus actual shipping cost. That should be less than you'll pay anywhere else.

{I wish I had seen this a few days ago. My son moved to Seattle yesterday, and I could have stuck it in his luggage.)
