Does anyone have any experience with a company called IndyCanvas? I am looking for a jib bag and they have one for about $90. My canvas person has quoted $250-$300. Thanks.
I've never heard of IndyCanvas and have never had a jib bag but, I bought a mainsail cover from Lee Sail Covers a couple of years ago and it still looks like new. They're having a sale on jib bags now.
At $250 for a sail bag, I'd be getting a new "canvas person" if I had one.
Thanks for the responses. I may not have been clear: the jib bag I am referring to is a bag which will cover the headsail and allow it to remain hanked on. I think that it attaches to the forestay.

They range in price from $56 to $82 depending on size. As I said above, my mainsail cover looks like new 4 seasons later.
Check with Kent at Blue Star Sails(423-255-5969) in Chattanooga. He is always reasonable and everthing he has made was top quality. He recovered my interior cushions in blue sunbrella and now they will last forever.
I called them (company in SC right?) They had a sale in the spring on biminis. My mast wasn't going to be up until after the sale ended. The owner took my name and assured me the price would be good provided I called him within a week or two of launch and stepping.
We got a free one in the interim, so I never called back. The contact I did have gave the impression of a standup operation.
edited for most grammar mistakes, some spelling, a few homophones, or maybe homonyms, etc.
