Just sold PRETTY PENNY to a young couple from here in Long Beach, Yon and Andrea Carpenter. He's registered on the Forum and will be picking y'all's brains for mods, as I did. For seven months I've been a two boat owner; now just LUCKY PENNY, our '83 30.
I'll keep checkin' in from time to time.

Frank, that is great news. Ditto on the pics of Lucky Penny. Tell us a little more about her. Is she all you hoped?

I bought the '83 in December to take advantage of her recently installed '08 Universal diesel and I knew both the previous owners. I really thought the 250 would sell within a month or so, not 8 months later. The gamble cost me just over a grand in slip fees.
I'd like to post a picture of LUCKY LADY but I don't know how to copy and paste it from my Mac iPhoto album. It's name is IMG_0430.JPG. So it's not a URL I can past between (img) and (/img) Anyone with a similar "problem"? Thanks.

Frank, save to Shutterfly or the Mac equivalent, like the pic you have with Pretty Penny on your signiture. Then you can link.
Or see this link: http://www.catalina-capri-25s.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2623

Image transfer problem: images I upload from my Canon camera to iPhoto can be transfered to Shutterfly, and then to the Forum posts. But images I upload from my Blackberry cell phone camera won't transfer to Shutterfly. Anyone with a similar problem?

It was twenty grand and has a two year old Universal diesel with less than 100 hours on it. Many, many upgrades, too good a deal to pass up, and I knew both the prior owners.
Now if only I could find an '88 Catalina 34 ;-)

She's a beauty! And a great price too. I guess the downturn in boat values has an upside as well....
