What would that do to the water intake on his inboard! Its pretty dang cool, and I would totally want to do exactly what he did, but at the next opportunity I would be flushing that system out. (Assuming he was motorsailing - it looks like there is no wind in the pics, and its hard to judge by the sail shadows)
