AUCTION IS NOW OPEN!

****2009 INTERIOR PHOTOS have been uploaded. These photos include the two finished levels and the lower level.****

The Property contains a 51-foot tall octagonal light structure attached to a square two-story keeper's quarters building, approximately 28' x 28', constructed of granite and timber frames. The light structure was built in the Second Empire Style and was established in 1874. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, reference #89001473, dated May 12, 1990.

The structure is set upon concrete filled foundation surrounded by rip-rap, 108' in diameter. There is a boat landing which projects from the north side and a metal ladder to reach two (2) flights of steps which connect the landing with the main deck above and rip-rap below.

The Property is located at 41° 07' 02" N, 73° 13' 22" W (41.117086, -73.22209). The map pin point on this website may not be accurate.

The Property marks a submerged reef which extends southeastward from Fairfield Beach, Connecticut, into Long Island Sound. It is located approximately one (1) mile from the entrance of Black Rock Harbor.

It is accessible by boat only.

I'm not sure I would want to tie up to it though, you might need to set a mooring, and then dinghy in.

I know it well... thought it was still working. You can almost walk to it at low tide.

For only a couple of million dollars, it could be livable. Why not trade in your condo, Dave?

I noticed on one of the plans there's a sewer outlet on one side of the foundation. Wonder how they get around the EPA laws?
