Asking $9,850 cdn (Boat, Trailer & Dinghy)

She is a 1981 Catalina 25 with a standard rig and swing keel with galvanized trailer (inspected until September 2011, just put all new brakes on the trailer Oct 2011 and will get it re-inspected). I am moving out west so I have to let her go. She has all the gear and is ready for her next adventures.

List of features:
-Swing keel, 5' draft down, 2' 8" up allows for great stability and pointing ability as well as access to shallow less crowded anchorages and less expensive shallow slips. The swing keel allows for easy loading and unloading from the trailer. I have loaded and unloaded at public wharfs with a F150. All lines are lead aft for easy single handing.

I'm including my hard-bottom inflatable QuickSilver 300 8' dinghy - it's older but still in great shape.

Sails
-135% genoa on roller furler
-NEW 2011 North Sails C-25 standard rig mainsail (not yet used)
-New Main sail cover in 2009
-Pristine Gennaker (Drifter genoa)
-Hank on storm jib
-New carbon cars and blocks for genoa and gennaker 2011

-Bimini which can be used when sailing or at anchor/dock
-9.9HP outboard with electric start. Runs excellently, plenty of power, efficient, and is relatively quiet for an outboard. Engine professionally serviced annually.
-New 22L gas tank and gas line in 2009
-Shore power cord
-Solar Panel 7w with charge controller
-12v deep cycle battery
-4 spring Garhauer outboard bracket installed 2006.
-Pop-top with cover for plenty of standing headroom and fresh air at anchor/dock
-New DSC VHF in 2011
-New Sony AM/FM/CD stereo with speakers installed May 2009.
-New Awlgrip hull and bottom paint job, applied professionally in September 2009.
-Brightwork re done in May 2010
-New LED cabin lights in 2010.
-New cabin upholstery in 2008.
-All swing keel hardware replaced in June 2008 (bronze castings, pin, bushing, spacers, keel cable, turning ball, winch, and keel hose).

Todd,

Very nice presentation and boat! You'll have no problem selling.

Good luck!

Todd,
When I heard you sailed a C-25, I had hoped for some stories of adventure from the shores of Nova Scotia. But that is not to be!

Good luck selling your boat. It looks very clean with all the right equipment.

Thanks John,

There have already been some good adventures, and I'm looking at the possibility of towing it across Canada to Victoria BC. THAT's an adventure I'll share here for sure!

***No longer for sale***
I'm happy to report that I'm keeping her!!

The job fell through in BC so I'm staying on the east coast, good thing the boat didn't sell already or I'd be sour. Unfortunately I already sold my house, lol. Can't win 'em all.
